On May 16, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Hanafi Gebali, who was on a visit to our country.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the participation of the high-level delegation of Egypt in the special session of the Milli Majlis dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev held in Baku.

The current level of development of relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt was highly appreciated.

Recalling the visit of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt to our country in January of this year, the important role of the heads of state in the development of relations between the two countries was emphasized.

At the meeting, the prospects of expanding Azerbaijan-Egypt's mutually beneficial cooperation in various directions were also discussed.
