The Euro-Atlantic Azerbaijani Partnership Council (EAPCA) signed a statement speaking out against France's sale of lethal weapons to Armenia.

Axar.az reports with reference to Report that in the document signed by the general secretary of the organization Sahil Gasimov, it is mentioned that France is conducting an aggressive policy in the South Caucasus and inciting Armenia to revanchism and war against Azerbaijan.

"The Euro-Atlantic Azerbaijan Partnership Council, which is an international transnational lobby structure operating in the Euro-Atlantic geography, declares that France's dirty policy in the South Caucasus is against international conventions," the information said.

In EAPCA, they believe that France's attack and lethal weapons to Armenia, which has experience of bloody military aggression, and the expansion of the field of military cooperation between Armenia and France make the start of a new war inevitable.

The statement noted that the violation of the ceasefire by the Armenian armed forces on the border with Azerbaijan, especially in the direction of Nakhchivan, is clearly the result of France's military and technical support to Armenia:

"The Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council of Azerbaijanis strongly condemns the signing of the agreement between France and Armenia on the purchase and sale of self-propelled artillery units "Caesar" and considers it another provocation by France against Azerbaijan. Such cases aim to undermine the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as efforts to establish peace and tranquility in the region."
