Amazon's Bezos asked to testify before Congress

The United States House Judiciary Committee asked Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos on Friday to testify before the Congress following the allegations that he could've previously lied to the country's legislators. If he decides to fulfill the request, it would mark the first case of this kind.

Axar.az reports that, this request came shortly after Republican Senator Josh Hawley demanded from Justice Department to start a criminal probe against Amazon.com for allegedly using third-party seller information for the benefit of its products.

Amazon's stocks sank 6.35% to sell for $2,317.66 at 10:46 am ET.
