Internet restrictions are lifted in Azerbaijan

In order to prevent large-scale provocations and cyber incidents committed by the Republic of Armenia, the temporary restriction on Internet access in our country will be lifted on November 12, 2020, except for the liberated and former frontline territories.

Axar.az informs that the statement came from Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade on social media.

He said that we thank the many millions of Azerbaijani Internet users for their understanding of the restrictions on Internet access over the past period.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has imposed restrictions on the provision of Internet in the country since September 27, 2020.
