UK lifts sanctions on Caspian Energy projects

International projects implemented in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan with the participation of Russian oil companies Lukoil and Rosneft have been exempted from UK sanctions.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by the UK Ministry of Finance, which added Lukoil and Rosneft to the sanctions list.

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium, TengizChevroil, Shah Deniz, South Caucasus Gas Pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum), Azerbaijan Gas Supply Company, and Karachaganak projects have been exempted from sanctions until October 14, 2027.
