Android 10 release date leaked - starting today

Android 10—the biggest update to Google‘s mobile operating system may be unveiled on September 3.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media that this follows a leak about the Android 10 or Android Q roll out date updated by Canadian carrier Rogers. A tech media highlighted the date mentioned on its website that pegged the launch date of Android 10 to be September 3. There is logic too--traditionally Google releases Android versions at the start of September with many security patches.

This year, the first Monday of September happened to be Labor Day in the United States and Google opted for the day after. In Rogers’ parlance, the launch of “Q OS” (Android 10) will apply to all mobile Pixel brands owned by Google on Sept. 3.

They will include Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a XL who may get the Android 10 update on September 3. Android 10 may also include support for foldable phones, making sure the interface works seamlessly between different screen shapes. Manufacturers like Samsung and Sony who are using Android may receive the new OS in the coming weeks.
