Cosmonaut Alexei Leonov has died at the age of 86 in Moscow.

Axar.az informs citing TASS.

He will be buried on October 15 at the memorial cemetery in Mytishchi.

Alexey Leonov is a test pilot, cosmonaut, artist, the first Earthman to go into outer space, winner of many prizes and awards.

He spent 12 minutes 9 seconds in outer space.
