Zuckerberg warned encryption plans to pose child risk

Mark Zuckerberg has been told not to “blindfold” himself from the threat encryption plans pose to young people in a joint letter sent by some of the world’s biggest child protection organizations.

Axar.az reports that Facebook is considering end-to-end encryption on Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct – on top of Whats-App, which is already encrypted – but there have been fears the move could prevent child abusers being caught.
