Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the leaders at the extraordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League held in Riyadh yesterday.

Axar.az reports that Erdogan called on Muslim countries to act together against Israel.

The main priority of the summit was to try to put international pressure on Israel by creating a unity of position between Arab and Islamic countries.

Erdogan recalled the political and military support given by the Western countries to Israel, which committed massacres in Gaza. He pointed out that the failure of Muslim countries to react made the situation worse.

The Turkish president also drew attention to the importance of encouraging more countries to recognize Palestine.

Erdogan left the hall during the speech of Syrian President Bashar Assad.

It should be noted that Erdogan came to Baku from Riyadh to participate in COP29.
