Turkiye applied to host COP31.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this during his speech at the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) held in Baku.

He thanked the countries that supported this candidacy:

"We are waiting for the support of other countries."
