The price of gas in Europe reached a record high

The price of gas in Europe rose to $1,774.6 per thousand cubic meters for the first time since March 10.

Axar.az reports that London's ICE exchange has released information about this.

According to the information, this means an increase of 7.4% compared to the closing level of the previous trading session:

"The price increase took place against the background of the planned strike of oil and gas industry workers in Norway on July 5. The action will disrupt 13% of the country's total supply. "The work of three platforms on the continental shelf in the North Sea will be suspended due to the strike of the employees of the Equinor company."
