72 thousand people from 196 countries of the world have registered to participate in the COP29 summit held in Baku.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev announced the statistics at the opening ceremony of the COP29 Leaders' Summit.

The president noted that there are 80 presidents, vice-presidents and prime ministers among the guests.

It should be noted that currently 50 presidents, 10 vice-presidents, 20 prime ministers and two crown princes are participating in the Leaders' Summit, and they will make official statements.
