The opening session of COP29 held in Baku went very well.

Axar.az reports that the director general of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said this in his statement to journalists.

He noted that more attention is paid to the health sector at this conference, because the climate crisis is also a health crisis.

The head of the WHO emphasized that the analyzes show that the outbreak of the pandemic depends on people:

"If we prepare, if we do everything to prevent it, it won't happen. We can prevent it with what we have."
