The Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army participated in the next meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense (MoD).

It was reported that the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel-General Karim Valiyev, who is on a visit to Russia, participated in the next meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries held in Moscow on November 12.

According to information, detailed discussions were held at the event on the development prospects of military cooperation and a number of other issues of mutual interest.
